You’ll complete our intake form. Then we will prepare and file the necessary court documents. For added convenience, we’ll also notarize your documents remotely.

We'll have a short meeting in court to request your name change. Don’t worry - we'll be with you every step of the way!

Once your name change is approved, we'll publish your new name in the appropriate publications so the name change will be effective. You can then visit the Department of Revenue, DMV and Social Security office to update your name.

The total cost is $750 plus the court’s filing fee (approximately $139 in St. Louis County, or $189 in St. Louis City) and the publication fee of $35.
